YouthBuild Day at the State House 2011
February 15, 2011- MYBC students and staff filled the Great Hall of the Massachusetts State House for the Fifteenth Annual YouthBuild Day at the State House. The hard work, energy, and sense of pride that exemplifies each of our programs on a daily basis was on display, as was the reality that with more funding, more of the 2,000 young people who apply to YouthBuild programs in Massachusetts each year could be seated in the Great Hall alongside their peers. The MYBC would like to thank all of our programs and young people in attendance, especially those students who braved the podium in front of a packed house to share their stories of transformation. We also appreciate the Representatives and Senators who made time to speak with their constituents and hear about YouthBuild. Special thanks to:
